As part of the continued development of our portfolio, SOMATEC took over the blade holder product division as of 01 March 2025.This addition fits seamlessly into our existing range of machinery and accessories and will enable us to offer our customers even more comprehensive single-source solutions in the future. Through this acquisition, the long-established product programme is being integrated smoothly into our structures, together with the technical documentation, customer relationships, and supply chains.
We have been working closely with renowned machine builders and accessory manufacturers for many years, which allows us to bring in the right specialists for every task. Our customers come from sectors including mechanical engineering (winding machines, short-roll slitters, slitting and cross-cutting lines), plastic and aluminium film converting, blown and cast film production, and the paper and textile industries.
By integrating the blade holder division, we are systematically expanding our portfolio for solutions that are technically well thought out, reliable, and economical.
